On April 13th, Horizons Greater Philadelphia and AmeriHealth Caritas were jointly presented with the honor of being one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2023 Faces of Philanthropy. This distinction, presented annually, honors 30 philanthropic partnerships in the region to demonstrate the positive impact nonprofit and for-profit partnerships can have within their communities.
We are tremendously grateful for AmeriHealth Caritas’ shared passion for empowering those who face inequities and obstacles through healthcare solutions and educational offerings and providing opportunities for them to thrive. They share our longitudinal approach, supporting individuals throughout their lifetime, and recognize the critical impact that healthcare and education play in outcomes, especially when intervening at an early age.
