Who We Serve

                 

Horizons programs serve students from under-resourced communities to effectively address the opportunity gap. Horizons programs in the Philadelphia area provide a core six-week summer learning program and additional year-round support to students who:

• Would benefit from intensive academic support (2/3 of our scholars perform below grade level in Reading and/or Math upon enrollment in the program)
• Can commit to meaningful participation and engagement over a six week period each summer, for multiple summers
• Live in the 5 county Philadelphia Area 
• Qualify for the Free and Reduced Price Lunch program
